「Neo-Arts-Revolt」

The group exhibition “Neo-Arts-Revolt,” featuring five emerging creators whose practices move between the street and the screen, will open in Jimbocho, Tokyo, on Friday, April 3, 2026.

The contemporary art scene continues to expand beyond the boundaries of genre, media, and geography. At the same time, it has become increasingly difficult to identify the contours of what might be called the “next wave” or a “new movement.”
Centered on the ideas of Creation and Revolution, “Neo-Arts-Revolt” is a next-generation art project that seeks to bring into view the emerging pulse of new forms of expression. This exhibition features five young creators whose practices move across different territories, from the street to the digital realm, presenting them together as a new collective sensibility: “Neo-Arts.”
While inheriting the legacy of Pop Art, the exhibition attempts to retell and reinterpret it through the language of the present. Reinterpretation and reconstruction, the circulation of art through commercial culture and the pursuit of artistic integrity, and the distinctive visual language of a generation raised on screens all intersect here. Within this convergence lies a form of expression that feels immediately accessible, yet remains one step ahead.
